Grace Family Church helps people meet Jesus, build strong homes, and grow across generations. Pastor Nathan and Laurie Hurst lead with a steady love for people and a deep tie to the Quad Cities. Their leadership shapes the culture of the church and gives visitors a clear picture of who guides Grace Family Church in Davenport.
Pastor Nathan Hurst
Nathan serves as Lead Pastor. He teaches with clear conviction and a strong focus on Scripture. He works to build a church where grace shapes daily life and where families grow in faith. He brings creativity and vision to the Midwest and partners with pastors across Iowa to strengthen ministry statewide. He also serves as the Iowa Ministry Engagement Coordinator for Christians United for Israel.
Before settling in Iowa, Nathan and Laurie served in large, fast growing churches in Louisville, New Orleans, and Pittsburgh. Those years shaped their leadership and built a desire to plant a healthy church in Davenport for families across the Quad Cities.
Nathan follows the 49ers and enjoys football. He trains Krav Maga and likes quiet movie nights with Laurie and the boys.
Pastor Laurie Hurst
Laurie supports the people and teams of Grace Family Church with a strong eye for systems and details. She helps families take simple steps of faith and keeps ministry moving during the week. When she gets time alone, she visits Von Maur for a quiet shopping trip. At home, she cooks and bakes for two growing boys. She is also a committed dog lover, which explains the two Dobermans and the miniature Schnauzer who runs the house.
